• Portability: The Go’s portable charging cable connects seamlessly both at home and on the go - and is compatible with any electric vehicle.
• Compatibility: Whether you’re at home or away, the Wattpilot Go works with all 3-phase outlets available at shopping centers, visitor attractions, restaurants, workplaces, public car parks, accommodation venues etc
• Novated Lease Option: You can cover the costs of your Wattpilot Go in your Novated Lease package.
2. Is the Wattpilot Go compatible with single-phase homes? The Wattpilot Go will require an adaptor to connect to single-phase homes, whereas the adaptor is included with the Wattpilot Home EV Charger.
2. Do I need a Fronius solar system to charge my EV at home using a Wattpilot?
Contrary to common belief, you don’t need a Fronius solar system (or any solar system) to charge your EV - a standard outlet will suffice. However, by using a Wattpilot you can benefit from improved functionality such as faster charging.
The Wattpilot Home & Watt Pilot Go can be connected to any brand solar system with advanced Fronius features such as 'Solar Aware' and 'Next Trip' accessible via a Fronius Smart Meter if you have a different brand solar system.
3. How can I monitor my power usage: To track EV charging from your solar system, you need either a Fronius solar system or Smart Meter connected to your solar system. The ‘Solar-Aware’ feature on Fronius solar systems lets you charge solely from your solar-generated power.
4. How can I ensure my car is sufficiently charged for travel the following day?
The Wattpilot GO offers two modes:
Eco 'Solar-Aware' Mode: Solar-Aware charging ensures only excess power generated by your solar system is used to charge your EV
Next Trip Mode: Ensures sufficient charge for your specified travel range by prioritising your car's charge level using power from the grid if necessary.
In addition, the Wattpilot Go and Wattpilot Home can automatically switch between single and three-phase mid-charge as required.
5. Can I charge more than one car with a Wattpilot Go and the Wattpilot Home?
Dynamic Load Balancing enables simultaneous charging of up to 3 EVs, maintaining a stable power supply with both the Wattpilot Go and the Wattpilot Home.
6. Can I install my Wattpilot Go outdoors?
While the Wattpilot GO is portable and suitable for both indoors and outdoors, it’s not designed for permanent outdoor installation. Consider the Wattpilot Home for that purpose.
7. Can I view my Wattpilot on my Fronius app?
Yes, you can monitor your Wattpilot through the Fronius app (‘solar.web’) pictured above.
