The Energy Bank is an elegant storage solution that integrates seamlessly with most of SolarEdge's other residential offerings to produce a complete energy system. All working from the same app, this allows the SolarEdge energy management app to act as an all-in-one management app. In addition, by installing both a SolarEdge inverter and battery it also means you are also able to enjoy the convenience of a single point of contact for all warranty & support.
On top of being compatible with the Home Hub inverter and other SolarEdge inverters, the Energy Bank is also compatible with SolarEdge's upcoming level 2 Smart EV Charger, allowing you to charge your vehicle entirely off the free, green energy generated by the sun.
Scalable energy solution
Up to three Energy Banks can be linked with a single SolarEdge Home Hub inverter, allowing you to store up to 10, 20 or 30 kWh of solar energy depending on your homes needs. Because the Energy Bank is a DC-coupled battery, you can also allows you to include more panels on your rooftop. This increases your solar generation and allows you to store more energy throughout the day, even while you're exporting energy to the grid and earning money off your solar, as the energy only needs to be converted when it passes through your inverter into your home system.
Industry leading performance
Installing an Energy Bank as part of your SolarEdge system allows for industry-leading overall PV+ system performance, with up to 94.5% round-trip efficiency, resulting in more energy stored, and more energy used by your home, with far less going to waste than in other systems. On top of that, the adaptive power boost feature allows the battery to provide higher output levels in the case of a power outage. This higher output allows the battery to supply power to larger appliances, such as air conditioning and fridges, for longer without exhausting the battery.
