Quality repairs, competitive price
Modern APS solar inverters are complicated pieces of equipment and so it’s essential that they are repaired properly to retain their peak efficiency and deliver the full benefits of solar power. At Solargain, we use a thorough APS inverter service procedure to ensure your inverter is repaired quickly, correctly and in the most cost-effective way. In most cases, after our specially-trained technicians visit your property and inspect your inverter, they will source replacement parts from the manufacturer directly, repair the faulty parts themselves or recommend a new system in the case where your inverter is beyond repair.
Whatever the fault may be, we’ll thoroughly test your system to ensure it’s still running efficiently after the fault has been repaired before reactivating it in your home. While strict safety and labour standards keep the quality of our repairs high, ours national coverage and strong manufacturer relationships keep our prices down.
Monitoring Your APS System
Solar energy is a very intelligent investment that helps substantially cut down your greenhouse emissions and electricity bills. In order to ensure you get the best efficiency out of your system, we strongly recommend you monitor it regularly. A major part of this involves checking your inverter and ensuring its running optimally.
Use this guide to get started!
If you have an APS system, you first need to access the ECU Monitor. Once accessed, the figures you will see (which are followed by kWh) refer to the cumulative total of kilowatt hours your system has produced since it was first installed. To obtain your daily production, compare the differences between this number when recorded at the beginning of the day and right before the system shuts off for the day as the sun sets.
Daily production example:
- January 21st, 8am: 100kWh
- January 21st, 6pm: 110kWh
Therefore your daily production is 10kWh (110 less 100). To calculate your average monthly production, record this figure at the start and end of each month, and the
Use this guide to determine if your Fronius inverter is DM1 or DM2n divide the difference by the number of days in between.
E-total example:
- E-Total on 1st January is 1100
- E-Total on 1st February is 1300
January’s Monthly Yield is therefore 200 units (1300 less 1100). January’s Average Daily Yield is, therefore, 6.45kWh (200 monthly yield divided by 31 days in January).
To ensure your solar power system is working normally, compare these figures with those provided in the Solargain Customer User Manual. You received this document in a black handover folder on the day of your solar installation. If you cannot find it, please call us on 1300 73 93 55 and we will arrange to send a new one to you.
