Enphase Micro Inverters

Enphase solar energy systems are not like any other PV system. In an Enphase system, every solar panel is paired with its own micro inverter, which works in pairing with that solar panel, making the most of all power that the panel produces. Installations that utilise micro inverters enjoy greater levels of design flexibility, and greater levels of energy yield.

This heightened yield is due to the fact that in a normal inverter system, solar panels operate in a string, and power production is limited to the lowest producing panel in the string. Microinverters and their attached panels are able to operate independently of each other, meaning that their production is never reduced by the production of other panels.
