Why do we use both internal installers and contractors?
All homes are different, with their own unique characteristics. Our cohort of installers have different skill-sets, some quite specialised and this allows us to schedule the most experienced team with the skill-set most suited to the system being installed on your home.
Will my warranty or support be different if my solar is installed by a contractor?
It’s exactly the same. Your workmanship warranty with Solargain is the same for both in-house and contractor conducted installations. Likewise, your component warranties are also the same and you’ll have exactly the same access to our full technical support and service teams. Who supplies the Balance-of-System components (eg, railing, DC isolators, cabling)?
There is no difference in balance-of-system components between internal or contractor installations. Solargain will supply all components for your system, down to the last nut and bolt. This allows us to keep detailed records of your installation which may be required in the future for compliance or regulatory reasons.
Are contractors held to the same standards as our internal installers?
Yes. Solargain, is one of the few solar companies in Australia with CEC Approved Solar Retailer status + ISO9001 Quality Assurance + ISO45001 OH&S certification.
